About Craig Donaldson
Craig is a reporter for Pocket-lint based in Toronto. He earned a diploma in journalism from Seneca Polytechnic and holds a Media Foundations certificate from Humber College. Craig previously interned and wrote for MobileSyrup, a Canadian tech publication. He enjoys reading and writing about consumer technology, especially phones, tablets, and PCs.
When did your interest in technology begin?
I believe the pivotal moment for me was when I built my first computer. Doing all the research, finding the right parts, and putting it all together was a transformative experience for me. It jumpstarted my interest in PCs, laptops, tablets, phones, and all things tech.
What was your first phone?
My first phone was the Samsung Galaxy Ace II X, a low-end budget smartphone in 2012. It was good at phone calls and texting, and that was about it. It wasn't until I got my iPhone 4s that my eyes were opened to what was possible by a smartphone.
What tech products or categories are you most passionate about?
Tablets, phones, and PCs are my bread and butter, but I'm always open to trying new tech devices that defy the odds or make my everyday life easier and more enjoyable.
