Google, for its part, confirmed on October 30 that it'll be offering subscribers a $20 credit if Disney content "remains unavailable for an extended period of time." The company has yet to comment on the $10 credit now being offered to some users, or whether this is a part of, or a replacement for, the previously-promised $20 credit offering.

How to claim your YouTube TV compensation

If you're an active, paying YouTube TV subscriber, then you may be eligible for a partial refund. To check eligibility and to claim your credit, follow these steps:
- Visit the YouTube TV desktop website via a PC web browser.
- Log into your YouTube TV account with your credentials.
- Next, navigate to Settings > Membership > Manage Plan > Redeem your offer > Agree.
- By hitting the Agree button, the $10 credit offer will be applied to your billing cycle on a recurring basis for the next six months.
If the option to redeem this promotional price offer isn't present on your screen, don't fret. As mentioned, the offer appears to be rolling out inconsistently across YouTube TV's subscriber base, and so it might not have rolled out to your individual account as yet.
